Snapshots and betas
No official Java snapshot or Bedrock preview for The Sift has been announced yet. When testing starts, Mojang will publish it on minecraft.net — anything earlier claiming to be "the Sift update" is a fan mod.
What the update adds
- A fourth dimension described as "beautiful, vibrant, and teeming with souls".
- Areas including the Meadows and the Carapace.
- A new mob called the blub, plus companions and threats with "new rules to learn".
- Many new "healthy" sculk blocks.
